So Mary has acquired this rather quirky bit of folk art: a painted wooden ironing board complete with animals cute and strange. We had to chuckle at the incredibly overweight hedgehog and the rather “dazed” looking elephant on the bottom. Whatever story you want to create about this one-of-a-kind vintage piece of art, its available at Fat Chix/Aluminum Mule until someone nabs it!
February is sauntering up to us next month! Can you believe it? Of course we are already stocking up for the holiday with cute Valentine gifts and goodies! Sure our crazy store name may imply “robust” femininity, but there’s plenty of manly things to be found at Fat Chix. Of course, the gift shop also has the second name of “The Aluminum Mule” so maybe that’s the male aspect of the name…mule…male…I digress:)
Christmas is next week but our little store is still bursting with gifts, last minute stocking stuffers and a few gems for the man who still needs a present! Vintage beer and shot glasses along with vintage fishing lures. Beer cap magnets and some Irish ball caps are some of the cool items we have in stock right now.
